What this policy covers

This policy covers our own website and theme documentation only.

It doesn't cover:

• Shopify stores built with an Ursus theme. If you're shopping on such a store, that store's own cookie and privacy policies apply.
• Cookies set on a merchant's store. Our themes don't set cookies on a merchant's store. Cookies there come from Shopify, from apps installed on that store, or from tools the merchant has added.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Some are necessary for a site to work at all. Others help site owners understand how their site is used, or support features such as forms and embedded content.

Similar technologies, including local storage and tracking pixels, can serve the same purposes. Where this policy refers to cookies, it covers those too.

How we use cookies

We use cookies for two purposes:

• Necessary cookies - set by our website and documentation platforms so that pages load correctly, forms work, and your preferences are remembered during a visit. These can't be switched off without affecting how the sites function.
